Developmental Delay Appointment

• Please submit the initial screening questionnaire on the developmental delay page. This will help to determine whether a developmental delay issue may be affecting your child. I will then follow up with a phone discussion with you to clarify any outstanding developmental indicators, as reflected by the questionnaire.

Initial assessment

​

• An initial assessment session is approximately 2 hours in duration. This involves movement and sensory analysis, primitive reflex assessment a basic visual screening and functional independence review.

• A parent feedback session is arranged for a verbal/ video feedback presentation to explain areas of issue for your child. 

• At this meeting the first home exercise will be demonstrated. This movement will be conducted at home, requiring about 5 minutes per day to complete.

Duration of the program

​

• The program is a 12–18 mth commitment for best results.

• A weekly review is optimal.
